Aston Martin has announced that it is expanding its UK production facility in Gaydon (United Kingdom). The company said in a statement that the GBP20 million (USD33.5 million) earmarked for the project will be spent on the creation of a new chassis and pilot build facility, new offices, and an extension of the parts and logistics storage area that will add 10,000 square metres to the site. The construction is expected to be completed during 2015. Alongside the building work, it will recruit 250 additional staff in the areas of engineering, manufacturing and commercial functions over the next few months.
