Production Statistics & Forecasts

Output growing steadily following the interim relief from sanctions but still some way short of levels seen in 2011.

Iran's daily car output has surpassed 4,000 units, reports the Fars News Agency (FNA), citing the country's deputy industry minister, Mohsen Salehinia. The two main Iranian automakers − Iran Khodro and Saipa − are currently producing 2,300 and 2,000 cars per day respectively, said Salehinia. He said that the country's automobile output has increased significantly in recent months, without revealing any detailed statistics.
