China's BYD Auto to set up assembly plant in Saudi Arabia

Chinese automaker BYD Auto is reportedly looking at establishing an assembly plant in Saudi Arabia through a local joint-venture partner, reports Arab News. Citing the general manager of the automaker's local operations, Ibrahim Qahtan, the report suggests that BYD is currently conducting feasibility studies into the possibility and that the findings are expected to be shared soon.
