Nissan considering production of new model at South African plant

Nissan is looking at expanding output at its Rosslyn plant in South Africa by adding one or more new models, reports the Cape Times. Mike Whitfield, managing director and president of the automaker's local operations, stated that about half of the plant's annual production capacity remained underutilised and that, "There is another shift [that] we can fill up [at the South African plant].
