Mitsubishi plans to produce 50,000 Outlander PHEVs in FY 2014/15
Increases annual production capacity from 174,000 to 212,000 units at its Okazaki plant in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
Mitsubishi plans to produce 50,000 Outlander plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) in financial year (FY) 2014/15 as it expands capacity by two-thirds, reports Inside EVs. About 37% of global volumes of the Outlander will be PHEVs, according to reports.
