Reports of rear axle failures

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is opening an investigation into 260,000 Dodge Ram pick-ups from the 2005 model year over 15 reports of rear axle failures. According to Automotive News, this is the agency's second investigation of the issue.
