Mitsubishi Fuso starts Indian production of left-hand-drive trucks for export
Trucks produced at the Oragadam, Chennai plant of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd (DICV)
Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) has started production of left-hand drive (LHD) trucks for markets in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. The trucks are produced at the Oragadam, Chennai plant of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt Ltd (DICV). Both Mitsubishi Fuso and DICV belong to the German automotive group Daimler. In a press statement, the automaker said the Fuso FJ medium-heavy-duty truck will first be launched in markets like Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Egypt, while additional markets in Latin America and the Middle East will be added in the mid-term.
