Capacity utilisation of the Russian plant during the first quarter was 121.5%, the highest among all Hyundai and Kia plants across the world

Hyundai is looking to increase the capacity of its plant in St Petersburg, Russia, from 200,000 units per annum (upa) to 300,000 upa according to an article in the Korea Economic Daily. The report claims the move is as a result of rising demand for the Hyundai Solaris in Russia. Capacity utilisation of the Russian plant during the first quarter was 121.5%, the highest among all Hyundai and Kia plants across the world according to the report meaning that the company is continually working at over its built capacity.
