Toyota subsidiary to further boost production of nickel metal hydride batteries
Capacity will expand to 500,000 vehicles worth of rechargeable batteries
Toyota subsidiary Primearth EV Energy said today (15 July) it will increase its production capacity for nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries used in hybrid cars to meet an ever-increasing demand, reports Kyodo News.
