Plant Closures & Downtime

The move will affect 256 jobs

Cooper Standard Automotive subsidiary International Fluid and Sealing Systems in Coventry (UK) is planning to close its facility in Maesteg, Wales (UK). As a result, 256 jobs will be lost. The production will be shifted to facilities in Poland and France. The plans to reduce workforce came in response to falling sales and the company’s poor financial record in the last three years. The company will however retain an office in Coventry.
