3M completes acquisition of Sumitomo Electric's 25% stake in JV
Renames acquired company to 3M Japan
US-based technology company 3M yesterday (31 August) completed the acquisition of the 25% stake of Sumitomo Electric, a Japanese auto parts manufacturer, in Sumitomo 3M, for JPY90 billion (USD864.3 million, 1 September 2014), says a 3M press release.
