Renault-Nissan has no plans to close battery production sites

Nissan has no plans to impair its battery investments and battery supply contracts will remain in place.

Renault-Nissan has announced that it has no plans to shut any of its global electric vehicle (EV) battery production sites, reports The Wall Street Journal (WSJ). Following a report yesterday that the company could change its strategy resulting in the closure of sites in the United States and United Kingdom, spokesperson Rachel Konrad denied that it has any such intentions.
