ZF said to be working very closely with JLR's own engineers on these projects, and will likely benefit from the automaker's future projects, including those benefiting from this new design direction.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has signed a deal with ZF Lemforder on the supply of components for its next generation of vehicles, reports the Birmingham Post. The managing director of UK operations, Terry Somerfield told the newspaper that the firm would be involved in supplying corner units or control arms for the new Jaguar XE and Land Rover Discovery Sport as well as the forthcoming Jaguar crossover and replacement for the Land Rover Discovery in 2016. He added that the company anticipates having to enlarge its Solihull (United Kingdom) site in response to demand for the Discovery.
