US imposes anti-dumping duties on specialist steel imports from six countries
The allegations are pending confirmation from the US International Trade Commission with case due to be heard on 20 November.
The United States is planning to levy anti-dumping duties on imports of specialist steel from six countries, according to a public notice posted on the US Department of Commerce's website. The US body confirmed duties on imports of non-oriented electrical steel (NOES) from China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, and Taiwan, after receiving allegations from US-based AK Steel Corporation that these countries sold goods at a cheaper price in the US market.
