Bayer, Promens, Volvo develop polyurethanes for pedestrian safety
New products used in production of hoods for Volvo’s engines
Bayer, a Germany-based supplier of plastics materials to the automotive industry, has partnered with Czech-based plastics manufacturer Promens and Swedish automaker Volvo to develop two special polyurethane materials for ensuring pedestrian safety, according to a press release by Bayer.
