PSA to establish assembly operation in Belarus

Plan is to manufacture 2,000–2,500 units in 2015 from completely knocked down (CKD) kits.

PSA Peugeot-Citroën is planning to launch a small-scale assembly operation in Belarus, according to a report by local news agency Belarus Daily News. The news was announced by PSA's Belarusian importer PS Auto Group which is involved in the project. The marketing director of the company Valentin Trigorlov said, "The new production will be presented in late November. The first cars will be rolled off the line this month as well." The plan is to manufacture 2,000–2,500 units in 2015, with the assembly unit putting together completely knocked down kits of four Peugeot and two Citroën models.
