Toyo Tire announces personnel changes

Recently announced mid-term business plan envisages a global presence for Toyo's two brands.

Toyo Tire has made changes in positions and responsibilities of its corporate officers, effective from 1 November, reports news website TyrePress. Noriyuki Isobe will be appointed the new general manager of the company's tyre quality assurance department within its Technology Management Centre, while Yoji Imura has been appointed general manager of the Kuwana tyre plant. Naoki Nishikawa will replace Noriyuki Isobe as chairman and president at Toyo Tire (Zhangjiagang) and president at Toyo Tire (Zhucheng). Both companies are based in China.
