Audi advances plans to add new body styles and variants to the nameplate.

Audi will begin production of the cabriolet body style variant of the TT at its production location in Gyõr, Hungary in early November. According to an MTI news press report, cabriolet versions of Audi's third-generation TT will begin to roll off the production line on 5 November. The company would not put a figure on the split of production between the cabriolet and the coupé version of the TT, which is already being manufactured, but said that the plant would operate in three shifts at full capacity to produce multiples of last year's output of over 40,000 cars.
