Malaysia, Indonesia look to collaborate on ASEAN car project
The Malaysian and the Indonesian governments have revisited their plans to jointly launch the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) car project in the coming years.
The Malaysian and the Indonesian governments have expressed their support to revive the ASEAN car project, reports local daily Bernama News. The development comes as the two countries' heads, Malaysian prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and the Indonesia's newly elected president Joko Widodo (Jokowi), met at the swearing-in ceremony of the latter held yesterday (20 October).
