New generation superhalogens deem to be safe, non-toxic, environment-friendly

Researchers at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), United States, have revealed that alternate superhalogens that are non-toxic (i.e. halogen free) and thus environment friendly, can replace the present-day superhalogens used in lithium-ion batteries as electrolytes, according to a press release
