Hella prepares for IPO

Members of the family intend to retain a more than 75% stake in the business after any listing.

German automotive lighting manufacturer Hella is preparing to list on the German stock market, according to a Dow Jones Institutional News report. Hella may list on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by mid-December, according to two sources who are familiar with the plan. The company's family owners will make the final decision on the timing of the initial public offering (IPO) which is expected to value the firm at around EUR4 billion (USD5.06 billion).
