Weakening yen slows production shift out of Japan, says JTEKT president
Says yen's decline has come too late to boost exports
JTEKT thinks the weakening yen will slow the shift of production from Japan to overseas markets, reports Bloomberg, citing JTEKT President, Tetsuo Agata, who said, “The trend of shifting output overseas has eased off and we will have to consider how to add value to domestic production."
