Peugeot to start assembling CKD kits of 301 in Kazakhstan from 2016
To partner with local industrial conglomerate AllurGroup
PSA Peugeot-Citroen will begin assembling the 301 model in Kazakhstan from completely knocked down (CKD) kits from 2016, according to a company statement. The company will partner with local industrial conglomerate AllurGroup to manufacture the CKD 301 at AllurGroup's Saryarka AvtoProm plant in Kostanay. The plan is for an initial production run of 12,000 units in 2016, increasing to 17,000 in 2017.
