Team says their battery has greater specific energy density than current lithium-ion batteries

A team of researchers, led by Dr. Vasant Kumar at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom and Professor Renjie Chen at the Beijing Institute of Technology in China, has developed an electrode structure for lithium-sulfur batteries, according to a press release from the journal APL Materials.
