Maruti Suzuki is boosting production at its Indian plants in November and December, according to a report in the Financial Express. Citing unnamed sources with knowledge of the matter, the report says that the automaker's production target for November is 105,000 units, up 12% year on year (y/y). Similarly, the automaker is believed to be aiming for output of 110,000 units in December, up 36% y/y. "In October 2014, we had fewer working days and so production was lower. The production in the balance two months in Q3 will partially make up for the shortfall," the report quotes a company official as saying.
