Canada's Prestolite Electric Propulsion Systems (PEPS) launches production of electric motors in Beijing
Line has a monthly capacity of 200 electric motors and power electronics modules which will increase to 500 in 2015,
Prestolite Electric Propulsion Systems (PEPS) officially launched production of electric motors at its new factory in Beijing yesterday (24 November), according to the company. PEPS is a joint venture between TM4, a subsidiary of Canada's Hydro-Québec, and Prestolite Electric Beijing Limited (PEBL). The automated PEPS production line has a monthly capacity of 200 electric motors and power electronics modules. In 2015, the company will increase its capacity to 500 units per month to meet demand.
