Dutch navigation systems TomTom has signed a new contract to supply satellite navigation mapping technology to Volkswagen's (VW) in-house sat-nav systems (VW) according to a company press release. VW will launch in-dash navigation systems with TomTom maps, starting with the new VW multimedia system on models sold in North America from the second quarter, including the Jetta, Passat and Beetle model lines manufactured at the firm's plants in Tennessee in the US and in Puebla, Mexico.
