Chrysler's Canadian minivan plant shuts for 12 weeks
Temporary shutdown is to enable the plant to prepare for the next-generation Chrysler Town & Country.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) US is planning to shut the Windsor assembly plant in Ontario, Canada, that builds the Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country for 12 weeks beginning in mid-February . The move could cause supply of the minivans to be tight, although the company does not plan to change its incentive structure in an effort to slow retail sales, reports Automotive News.
