New AEB systems include CIB, DBS

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) plans to add two automatic emergency braking (AEB) systems – crash imminent braking (CIB) and dynamic brake support (DBS) – to the recommended advanced safety features included under its New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), the administration said in a press release yesterday (22 January).
