Porsche to recall 14,500 cars in China
Due to "faulty camshaft" problems
Porsche is to recall 14,571 vehicles in mainland China due to "faulty camshaft" problems, reports the state-owned Xinhua news agency, citing the Chinese General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). The recall involves Panamera models made between April 2009 and September 2011. The AQSIQ alleges that the tap bolt on the camshaft adjuster could loosen or break. The recall will take place from 20 April 2015 and Porsche will replace the defective components free of charge.
