Israel is partnering through its Fuel Choices Initiative (FCI) and is also discussing the possibility of establishing an extended Research and development (R&D) programme.

Israel has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), Iveco and Magnetic Marelli to co- operate in the development of compressed natural gas (CNG)-based automotive technologies, reports Green Car Congress. Israel is partnering through its Fuel Choices Initiative (FCI) and is also discussing the possibility of establishing an extended Research and development (R&D) programme. The programme will involve Israeli companies in fields related to alternative fuels, smart mobility and other automotive-related activities.
