Production target of about 25,000−30,000 units per annum
US automaker General Motors (GM) plans to start manufacturing the Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicle (EV) from October 2016, reports Reuters, citing two unnamed supplier sources. GM reportedly has a production target of about 25,000−30,000 units per annum (upa) for the Bolt. The vehicle is expected to be assembled at the automaker's factory in Orion Township, Michigan, United States, alongside the Chevrolet Sonic and the Buick Verano. GM has declined to comment on this matter.
