Bridgestone announces more senior management changes
Changes will be effective from 24 March 2015.
Bridgestone has made changes to its senior management, stated a company press release. The board has re-elected Masaaki Tsuya as CEO and Kazuhisa Nishigai as COO. Narumi Zaitsu has been reassigned as senior vice-president, member of the board, and chief technology officer. Narumi formerly also held the additional portfolio of production technology. Satoru Shibao has been appointed vice-president and officer of engineering and manufacturing technology development. Fumihiro Yanaga has been appointed vice-president and officer seconded to Bridgestone Plant Engineering Company. He previously held the position of vice-president and officer seconded to Bridgestone Europe NV/SA, replaced by Ryutaro Ishii.
