Geely to sell transmission assets to Zhejiang Wanliyang Transmission Co
Will be second recent disposal by Geely
Chinese automaker Geely has released a statement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE) indicating plans to sell its transmission assets, including 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmissions produced in-house, to Zhejiang Wanliyang Transmission Co for CNY300 million (USD47.9 million). The deal will involve Wanliyang supplying transmissions to Geely vehicles up to 31 December 2018.
