JV with Daimler approved by European Commission

KamAZ has said that it is expecting to return to a normal working schedule in May, reports SKRIN Newswire. A representative of the truck-maker told Finmarket that the company had decided to undertake a four-day working week during the first two weeks of March instead of the three-day week it had planned. While a decision on the second half of the month has not been made yet, the company will return to a five-day week from the second week of May, after a week's holiday. In related news, the European Commission has approved a joint venture (JV) between KamAZ and Daimler. The body said that the deal will have no impact on competition in Europe due to it being focused on Russia and Belarus.
