Mexico sees y/y sales grow 22%, exports increase 12.6%, production up 14% in February
February follows on January’s strong start; sales grew at a slightly faster than in January and production shifted to double-digit gains, while exports demand was slightly below the 15.2% recorded in January.
The Associacion Mexicana de la Industria Automotriz (AMIA) has reported light-vehicle sales in the domestic market jumped 22.0% year on year (y/y) in February, with 97,558 units sold.
