Maruti Suzuki has issued a recall of 33,098 Alto 800 and Alto K10 units in India, reports the Press Trust of India (PTI). The recall is due to faulty door latch assembly on right-side doors which may open if force is applied from inside and the door is half-latched. In a statement, the automaker said it will proactively inspect and replace the right-hand door latch assembly of 19,780 units of the Alto 800 and 13,318 units of the Alto K10 models. Affected vehicles were produced between 8 December 2014 and 18 February 2015.
