Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has announced that it will double the size of its engineering and design centre at Whitley in Coventry in order to increase the company's capabilities in the area of low-emission vehicle technologies, with the move paving the way the way for full electric vehicle (EV) versions of Jaguar and Land Rover models, according to an Autocar report.
