Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) plans Indonesian assembly plant
Expected to be operational next year.
India's Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is reportedly planning to open a vehicle assembly plant in Indonesia, reports Reuters citing business daily Bisnis Indonesia. According to the report, the automaker is looking to invest IDR300 billion (USD23.1 million) in an assembly plant through its Indonesian sales agent PT Tawang Swasti Rawikara. Bisnis Indonesia quoted Mizan Allan, general manager at Tawang Swasti, in its report. The plant is expected to be operational next year with a capacity of 100–150 units per month.
