Kadjar to be first Renault SUV produced in China
Production at the facility will begin in 2016
The first model to be produced at the Dongfeng Renault production base in Hubei province will be a sport utility vehicle (SUV), reports state-owned newspaper the China Daily. Production at the facility will begin in 2016 with the Renault Kadjar, a C-segment SUV that is built on the common module platform that the Qashqai from allied company Nissan is built on. The Kadjar is 4,450 mm long and 1,840 mm wide.
