GM cuts workforce, Ford halts production in Venezuela
Closure is reportedly due to shortage of hard currency (US dollars)
GM has laid off about 446 workers, 13% of its workforce, in Venezuela and Ford has halted production operations in the country, reports Reuters news agency.
