PSA, Ford to extend diesel relationship

Will sign a new contract by mid-year to continue their joint operations beyond 2017.

PSA Peugeot-Citroën and Ford are expected to extend their current diesel engine relationship, reports Automotive News Europe (ANE) citing Les Echos. The French newspaper has been told by a source at PSA that the pair will sign a new contract by mid-year to continue their joint operations beyond 2017. The newspaper added that Ford will receive components for PSA's new DV-R engine family made at its Douvrin (France) and Tremery (France) facility from 2017, with final assembly taking place at Ford's Dagenham (United Kingdom) site.
