MAN resumes production in Russia
Follows two-month stoppage
MAN has resumed production at its plant in St Petersburg in Russia after a two-month stoppage, according to an Esmerk Russian News report. Production at the facility was halted at plant in 1 March on account of collapsing demand for foreign truck brands as a result of declining investment in capital projects and the contraction in the wider economy. The Russian production facilities staff took additional training during the down time and no workers were laid off.
