Amongst the areas where investment will be made including the expansion in size of the current site from 80,000 square metres to 150,000 square metres and will result in the construction of a new production line, warehousing and enlarged research and development (R&D) facility. The company has also said that as well as lifting its headcount by 500 staff to meet the requirements of the new vehicle, it will also provide opportunities for growth within its Italian and international supplier base.
