Fiat has also managed to agree a deal, but workers at Ford are reportedly continuing their strikes

Production at the Turkish factories of Renault has resumed after a majority of workers ended industrial action yesterday (27 May), according to a Wall Street Journal Europe report. Renault operates its plant as a joint venture, known as Oyak Renault, with Turkish army pension fund Oyak in the northwestern city of Bursa. Renault has agreed to make a one-time bonus payment of TRY1,000 (USD378) per employee within the first week after workers return to work, with further bonuses of at least TRY600 per employee at the end of the year based on performance. The company is also said to be working on plans to improve salaries based on an industry-wide collective labour agreement within a month, and it said that no legal action or compensation claims would be sought against the employees who staged strikes at the plants.
