GM to invest USD175 million in production of next-generation Chevrolet Camaro
Will add second shift employing 500 workers starting this summer.
US automaker General Motors (GM) is investing USD175 million at its Lansing Grand River Assembly plant in Michigan (United States) for the production of the next-generation Chevrolet Camaro. According to a statement, the investment will be made in building three new paint systems for Camaro-specific colours, installing two robotic framers, and adding a second shift employing 500 workers starting this summer.
