Polish passenger car production up 2.5% in May
Current forecast for passenger car production in 2015 sees an increase of 11.8% compared with 2014.
Passenger car production in Poland rose by 2.5% year on year (y/y) in the country in May to 56,176 units, according to data published by the Polish industry association Samar, reported by Reuters. However, this figure was a 5.2% fall on the amount of cars manufactured in Poland in April as a result of holidays, meaning the loss of two production days. The industry monitor also posted data that showed a 14.1% y/y increase in passenger car production in the first five months of the year in the country.
