Allison Transmission revises MY2014-18 rule with respect to fuel efficiency standards
Phase II rulemaking effort to continue for next few months
Allison Transmission has been working with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) over the revision to the 'Phase I' Model Year (MY) 2014-2018 rule regarding fuel efficiency and greenhouse gas emission (GHG) standards for medium and heavy-duty vehicles, according to a company’s press release.
