Volkswagen’s SEAT unit halts production at Spanish plant due to strike at Johnson Controls
Production is not expected to resume before 21 July
Volkswagen Group’s Seat unit has halted production at its Martorell plant near Barcelona, Spain, due to a shortage of seats as a result of labour strike at Johnson Controls (JCI) plant in Barcelona, according to a report by Automotive News Europe (ANE) yesterday (15 July).
