Volvo recalling XC90 on potential airbag problem
Could affect 9,000 to 10,000 vehicles worldwide.
VVolvo plans to recall its 2016 XC90 to address a potential third-row airbag problem. At issue is a problem with a trim panel which may prevent the airbag from functioning properly. A Volvo spokesperson told Automotive News, “This is not an issue with the airbags themselves, but a trim panel that could interfere with deployment. This is not related to any Takata recall. It is not dangerous to drive affected cars.”
